⚡An Israeli official told The Times of Israel that initial investigations into an Omani pilot who, the day before, attempted to bring down Flydubai flight number 1073, will be carried out by Saudi Arabia.

According to this official, after the Saudi Arabia investigations are completed, the pilot will be handed over to the United Arab Emirates in order to conduct further investigations.

The official also said that Israel expects the UAE’s investigations to lead to more important findings.
