🔸Only four days after a drone attack on Jizan port in Saudi Arabia, the Yemeni Shia Houthi-affiliated news agency on Thursday reported another attack on the Aramco refinery based at this port.

🔸While Saudi news sources have not yet provided information about this, the Saba news agency of Yemen wrote that the refinery was targeted “with two drones.”

🔸On Sunday of this week as well, the refinery caught fire following a drone attack by the Houthis.

🔸Jizan, on the Red Sea coast and near the Yemen border, is within the reach of Yemen’s Shia Houthis, who are backed by the Islamic Republic.

🔸On the 5th of Mordad, Aramco suspended operations at these facilities after the Houthis’ attack on Yemen that damaged the integrated combined-cycle gasification (IGCC) complex and the refinery’s tanks section.

🔸At the time, the Houthis said they had targeted Aramco facilities in Jizan and Yanbu.

🔸The Jizan refinery has a capacity to process 400,000 barrels of crude oil per day and produces refined products including gasoline and diesel with very low sulfur content.
