🔸Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel, announced the country’s new national security strategy on Sunday; a strategy that emphasizes preventing threats and carrying out preemptive attacks.

🔸The Prime Minister’s Office of Israel said that under this strategy, attacks on emerging threats will replace the traditional policy of deterring threats and relying on defense.

🔸Netanyahu said that the wars after the October 7, 2023 attack made a review of Israel’s security policy necessary.

🔸Since the attack on October 15 three years ago, Israel has, in addition to military operations in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, targeted objectives in Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and Iran, and has been engaged with Hamas, Lebanon’s Hezbollah, and Yemen’s Houthis.

🔸According to figures from the Gaza Ministry of Health, the number of people killed in the war in this region alone, from October 15, 1402 to October 25 of this year, has reached 74,469.
