🔻The U.S. Army says “a large part” of Iran’s attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz have been “unsuccessful.”

Tim Hawkins, a spokesperson for the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), told Fox News that “97% of the ships that have tried to transit the Strait of Hormuz successfully passed through this waterway without being hit by Iranian projectiles.”

He added: “The U.S. Army has helped provide coordinated protection for thousands of ships that have safely transited this route.”

Mr. Hawkins called attacks by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on ships “unjustifiable” and said: “They have been unsuccessful in reaching their goal, namely, closing the Strait of Hormuz.”
