🔺No Iranian university is among the top 100 Asian universities

▪In the 2027 Asian ranking of the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Institute, the University of Tehran has dropped 21 places from 93rd to a joint 114th place.

▪The University of Tehran still holds the highest ranking among Iranian universities, but with its exit from the top 100 list, Iran has no representative in this part of the table. Sharif University of Technology has also fallen from 124th to 130th.

▪In this list, universities in Hong Kong, Peking, and Tsinghua have taken the top ranks, from first to third.

▪According to the review that has been published, the number of Iranian universities present in this period has reached 50, but among 47 shared universities in the past two rounds, 44 universities have faced a decline in their positions.
