🔺New U.S. Command to Be Created Focused on Drone Warfare

▪The U.S. Secretary of War announced several major changes in the U.S. military, including the creation of a new command for drones and a 20 percent reduction in the number of the country’s generals and admirals.

▪Pete Hegseth said in a speech on Wednesday about the “state of the forces” that he intends to create a new four-star command to oversee the development and deployment of autonomous and robotic capabilities. The U.S. Secretary of War described this action as “the fastest change in peacetime in modern military history.”

▪He added that “the speed at which war is changing is outpacing the processes needed to support it.”
