🔸Naim Qassem, leader of Hezbollah Lebanon, once again rejected an agreement between Lebanon and Israel on Friday and said that the group backed by the Islamic Republic of Iran “will not be brought to submission.”

🔸In a televised address, he called the framework agreement signed in direct talks between the two countries “illegitimate, unlawful, humiliating, and destructive to Lebanon’s sovereignty” and called for it to be revoked.

🔸The agreement, reached in June in negotiations supported by the United States, provides for the disarmament of Hezbollah, the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from southern Lebanon, and the deployment of the Lebanese army in this region.

🔸The current war began after Hezbollah’s attack on Israel on March 2. Israel also responded with extensive airstrikes and a ground invasion that, according to Lebanese officials, have left more than 4,300 dead so far.
