More than 24 hours after Israel’s parliamentary election ended, the future government of this country and the prime minister remain unclear. With 89.8% of the votes counted, Benjamin Netanyahu’s coalition has won 53 seats, and the opposition led by Gadi Eisenkot has won 48 seats.
Donald Trump said Netanyahu is in a relatively good electoral position, and that his personal support for Israel’s prime minister has not been without impact in this situation.
