Mohsen Amiriyosafi, director of the film “The Curse of Seizure,” was summoned to Tehran’s Office of the Ministry of Culture a few days before the film’s global premiere at the London festival.

According to reports, the summons took place on Mehr 7 and was related to the production of the film “The Curse of Seizure” without a permit; part of the film addresses the protests of December 2025. No information has been released yet about the opening of a case or any possible charges against Amiriyosafi.
