Mohammadreza Najafi-Mansh, head of the Automobile Parts Manufacturers Association, told the Iran Watch site: “Because of the sanctions, our transportation is currently facing serious problems and the ports also do not have suitable conditions. In such a situation, if we want to import goods through other routes, additional costs will be imposed on the manufacturer.”
Najafi-Mansh added: “Another issue is the problem of liquidity. With regard to the increase in prices and the growth of inflation in the production sector, the amount of facilities needed by industry has also increased.”
The head of the Automobile Parts Manufacturers Association stated: “Given the current conditions, it is necessary for the amount of facilities required to increase by at least 100% so that parts makers can obtain the raw materials they need, whether from inside or outside the country.”
