Media affiliated with Yemen’s Houthis reported that Saudi Arabian fighter jets targeted a bridge in the southwest of Yemen today.

Based on these reports, the bridge was destroyed as a result of the attack and traffic on it has been halted. This bridge is one of the communication routes between Sanaa and several other provinces.

On the battlefield, Yemeni government forces announced that they have advanced in the province of Taiz in the southwest of the country and taken control of several areas and heights overlooking them. According to Al Jazeera, one of these heights puts the Houthis’ supply lines within range.

The chiefs of staff of the Saudi Arabian, Pakistani, and Turkish armies also met in Riyadh on Friday within the framework of the Mecca joint defense pact to review ways to respond to these attacks and to provide support to Saudi Arabia.
