Jason Brodsky, policy director of the Alliance for Nuclear Iran, in a post on X, described the new economic action by Donald Trump, the president of the United States, against the Islamic Republic as a “very serious warning” to China and the banks in that country that help the Iranian government get around sanctions.

Brodsky, by reposting a message from Trump on Truth Social, wrote: “This is a very serious warning to China and its banks that are helping the Iranian government to evade sanctions. The United Arab Emirates acted before this message was posted on Truth Social. The real test will be the implementation of this position and applying it in practice.”
