Israeli forces shell several settlements around cities in Nabatiyeh Province in southern Lebanon with artillery.

According to Lebanon’s National News Agency, the shelling has continued intermittently and has affected the outskirts of several settlements in Nabatiyeh District.

No report of damage or casualties has been published.

An Israeli-Hezbollah ceasefire is in place, but Israeli forces have continued shelling and airstrikes in southern Lebanon in recent weeks. Na’im Qassem, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, had previously said that “resistance is the only way to liberate.”
