An Israel Defense Forces spokesperson announced that a terrorist affiliated with Palestinian Islamic Jihad who was a member of the “Lions’ Den” terrorist cell has been arrested.

According to the statement, the Duvdevan Unit of the Israel Defense Forces, under the guidance of the Shin Bet, arrested the terrorist during the course of an anti-terror operation in the village of Nablus area on the night of Monday, in the area under the command of the Samaria Brigade. The terrorist was also a member of the “Lions’ Den” terrorist cell, which had previously been dismantled by security forces.

The Israel Defense Forces spokesperson emphasized that the army’s forces will continue their activities to neutralize terrorism and maintain security in the Judea and Samaria region.
