Ismail Baghaei, Spokesperson of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said on Tuesday, 12 Aban: “Iran’s nuclear file, as the biggest and most costly lie of the century, became the basis for the most severe pressure and restrictions against the Iranian people.”

Baghaei added: “A false accusation that, despite the fact that not even a single document has been presented showing deviation from a peaceful path, continues to be repeated as a tool in U.S. foreign policy and in line with Israel’s interests.”

The foreign ministry spokesperson described the United States as lacking seriousness in diplomacy and went on to say that they consider this concept merely as a tool to impose and dictate their will, even to their close partners.

Baghaei added: “This exclusivist approach has never been accepted by Iran, and has led the Iranian people to the definite conclusion that the hostility of the other side—beyond political structures—is inherently tied to the existence and identity of Iran.”
