🔻Iranian President’s office: Aasim Munir’s trip was highly fruitful and its results will become clear soon

Mehdi Tabatabaei, Deputy for Communications and Information at the President’s Office of Iran, called the trip of Field Marshal Aasim Munir, commander of Pakistan’s armed forces, “highly fruitful,” and said “the results of this trip will become clear soon.”

He said that talks with Pakistani officials were “full of very valuable diplomatic achievements.”

Pakistan is the main mediator of talks between Iran and the United States, and Aasim Munir, alongside Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, played a key role.

Mohsin Naqvi, Pakistan’s interior minister, who also traveled to Iran together with Field Marshal Aasim Munir, had described his meeting with Masoud Pezeshkian as “very positive and constructive,” and reported “remarkable progress” in talks with Iran.
