Netanyahu congratulated Trump over the expansion of Iran sanctions

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, congratulated Donald Trump, the President of the United States, and Scott Bessent, the U.S. Treasury Secretary, for the latest sanctions imposed against Iran.

Netanyahu wrote in a post on the social media platform X: “I congratulate President Donald Trump and Scott Bessent on the latest sanctions against the Iranian regime.”

The Israeli prime minister added: “You rightly impose a heavy price on that ruthless dictatorship and its supporters for the continued continuation of its acts of aggression.”
