🔻Iranian Army Spokesperson Says the Army and Qatar Government Have Not Provided New Information About Three Missing Iranian Pilots

Mohammad Akraminia told Al Alam, the Arabic-language TV channel of Iran’s state broadcaster, that: «The army and the government of Qatar have not provided us with any new information and they keep announcing that they have no information about the status of these pilots.»

He said: «Our expectation is that, with greater accountability, the situation of these three dear individuals will be clarified as soon as possible.»

The Missing Persons Search Committee of Iran’s Armed Forces announced in Khordad that two Air Force jets, in the month of Esfand, two days after the start of the simultaneous attacks by Israel and the United States on Iran, entered «the United States’ Aseid base in Qatar» causing «serious damage,» from the Shiraz Air Base, but when returning «over the Persian Gulf they were attacked by the enemy.»

The remains of one of the pilots, Majid Kazemi, were taken for a procession and burial in Iran on Mordad 8.

Qatar said it had found the body of this pilot and handed it over to Iranian authorities.

Iran’s Red Crescent Society, in a letter to the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross, requested assistance to clarify the situation of three captured pilots.
