🔻Iran: A vessel carrying 1.8 million liters of smuggled oil in the Persian Gulf was seized

Harmozgan Border Guard Command has announced the seizure of a vessel and a tugboat in the territorial waters of southern Hormozgan and claimed that 1.8 million liters of smuggled oil products were found on the stopped vessel.

According to IRNA news agency, Behzad Ebrahimi, the commander of the Hormozgan Border Guard Command, said that the seizure of the vessel and the tugboat was carried out with the aim of combating fuel smuggling: «In an inspection of this vessel, the amount of 1,825,000 liters of oil products — furnace oil and diesel — was discovered.»
