Associated Press reported that Kata'ib Hezbollah, a group backed by the Islamic Republic, in Iraq, said on Wednesday that it would halt its military activities following the withdrawal of U.S. forces from the country.
The group, however, exempted aircraft it “deems hostile” from this decision, thereby not ruling out the possibility of action against such aircraft.
The position was announced after the departure of the last U.S. forces from Iraq. Kata'ib Hezbollah had previously made the withdrawal of U.S. forces from its conditions for stopping armed activity.
