Iran Square in Buenos Aires, with a 19-meter column inspired by Persepolis, is a memento of Iran–Argentina relations during the Pahlavi era.

The column was gifted by Iran to this country following the visit of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and Empress Farah to Argentina in 1965.
