Fars News Agency, affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, reported, through images, on the continuation of the fires in the Miankaleh wetland. According to this report, the repeated fires in this habitat are still ongoing, and parts of it are surrounded by flames. Based on the report, since 26 Tir, 13 incidents of fire have occurred in this habitat.

Kananani, Director General for Environmental Protection of Mazandaran, said that some individuals are trying to put pressure on the area’s management by setting fires, and to pave the way for the seizure of lands and unlawful construction.

He said that so far, two people have been arrested in connection with these cases.
