Iran International launches the “Farahnaz Espad Scholarship” in memory of Farahnaz Espad, one of the first presenters of this network who died on 26 Mordad 1405 at the age of 37 after eight years of collaboration.

The scholarship is awarded annually to at least one Iranian student for graduate studies (Master’s) abroad, and its total amount is 40,000 pounds.

The selected students’ thesis must be about human rights in Iran, with a special focus on women’s rights. Students who have received admission from a reputable program in any country outside Iran may apply. Applications open every year on 20 Esfand, Farahnaz’s birthday, and the names of the selected candidates are announced on 26 Mordad, the anniversary of her death.

Applications must be sent to espadscholarship@volantmedia.net.
