🔻Iran Denies Bloomberg Report About ‘Nuclear Proposal’ by Iraqi Foreign Minister

Iranian government news agency IRNA — according to a knowledgeable source — rejected a report by the U.S. outlet Bloomberg and wrote that what it described as Iran’s “nuclear proposal” to the American side is “absolutely false.”

IRNA, citing this “knowledgeable source,” wrote: “In principle, in the talks held with the intermediaries, no discussion has been raised about the nuclear issue.”

Bloomberg on Thursday, citing its own sources, reported that Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s foreign minister, had told his European and Western counterparts in his side meetings on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York that Tehran is willing—if sanctions are lifted—to allow the IAEA inspectors to return to Iran.
