Hassan Qashqavi, the spokesperson for the National Security Commission of the Majlis, said in a program on the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Broadcasting (IRIB): “We told our neighbors that our security is your security, and our insecurity is your insecurity.”

Qashqavi continued: “If you hit our infrastructure, we will also hit infrastructure, and it will not be the case that the electricity to our homes is cut off while your homes remain lit, that our people have no water while you do.”

The spokesperson for the National Security Commission of the Majlis added: “The people have a rationale for defending the homeland and believe that this is an existential war. The enemy does not say the destruction of the Islamic Republic; rather, it says the destruction of Iran.”
