Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Iran’s foreign minister, had a series of meetings on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York; including with Sergey Lavrov, Russia’s foreign minister, at a time when Moscow and Tehran deepen their ties amid war.

Amir-Abdollahian also met with José Manuel Albares, his Spanish counterpart, and Paulo Rangel of Portugal.
