Hossein Aghaei, a member of Iran International’s editorial staff, referring to the maneuvers of Israeli fighter jets near Iran, said that these maneuvers are part of the preliminary stage of war and are carried out with the aim of training for operations, assessing the Islamic Republic’s air defense capabilities, and measuring refueling capacity and the ability to deliver munitions.
He presented two main scenarios for a possible attack: heavy airstrikes but limited to nuclear facilities, missile strikes and the IRGC command centers, or broader attacks targeting officials of the Islamic Republic and some of the energy infrastructure.
