Hosein Shariatmadari, representative of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic in Kayhan newspaper, in reference to Trump’s remarks about the possibility of using “Mother of Bombs” in the war, wrote: “Their mother’s bombs will face the fathers of the Islamic Republic’s missiles. Send your mother’s bombs so that our missiles will bring their fathers down. This is the ball and this is the field.”

Shariatmadari added: “The Islamic Republic will not leave any attack by its enemies unanswered. The infrastructure of America and its backers in the region, in Europe, and even in America will not be safe from an attack by the fathers of Iran’s missiles.”

The responsible editor of Kayhan added: “American military personnel anywhere in the world—the pilots who have been involved in the attack on Iran and many of them have been identified—Israeli nuclear facilities and other legal and identified targets of our allied countries are our lawful and recognized targets.”
