The Lebanese presidency announced that a military delegation of the country will present Beirut’s demands at a three-way meeting in Tampa in the U.S. state of Florida to stop Israel’s attacks on Lebanon.

In a post by the Lebanese presidency on X, it said the meeting will be held on 28 Mehr.

In recent months, Lebanon and Israel have held several rounds of direct talks to end the fighting.

The new war between Israel and Lebanon’s Hezbollah began on 11 Esfand last year, amid the expansion of regional tensions.

Under an agreement reached with American mediation, the Lebanese government pledged to disarm Hezbollah and, in return, Israeli forces were expected to gradually withdraw from Lebanon.

Hezbollah has not accepted disarmament as long as Israeli forces remain on Lebanese soil. Israel has also continued its attacks on southern Lebanon.
