Hosein Mahbī, the spokesman of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, said at a press briefing with foreign journalists that in case of a change in the form of hostilities, the Islamic Republic will use new weapons.

Mahbī said: “We are constantly designing new weapons, upgrading current weapons, and producing large quantities of weapons so that we can defend ourselves, and we use all the technologies in the world to build weapons.”

He added: “Surely, if the fighting takes another form, we will also bring new weapons onto the battlefield.”
