🔻Herzog: Israel needs a stable government

Israel’s president, on Sunday, officially tasked Gadi Eisenkot, the leader of the opposition to the government, with forming a new cabinet, and warned that after the U.S. elections the country would face conditions that are uncertain and developments that are unpredictable.

Referring to a “new political reality” in the United States, Isaac Herzog said that “Israel needs a stable government,” emphasizing “the necessity of forming such a government.”

In the recent Israeli election, none of the main alliances was able to reach the threshold required to form a government.
