Israel’s prime minister, on the third anniversary of the October 7 attack, in remarks with a warning tone, addressed the Islamic Republic, saying: “We will not allow the terrorist regime in Tehran to threaten our existence.”
Benjamin Netanyahu added: “The authoritarian regime [of Iran] is currently weaker than at any time since its founding. This regime is fighting for its survival and, in the end, it will be destroyed.”
An official state ceremony was held on Monday to commemorate Israeli soldiers and security forces who were killed in the October 7 attacks by Hamas and the war that followed. Isaac Herzog, the president, Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister, Yoav Gallant, the defense minister, and other Israeli officials delivered speeches at the event.
