Hamid Bord, CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company, told ILNA on Sunday, the 5th of Mehr, that, based on the information obtained, the “enemy” has also planned to strike oil facilities.

He added: “If people save 10 to 15 percent in energy consumption—especially this year, when some refineries have suffered damages resulting from the war—this saving can ensure the continued supply of energy.”

Bord further said: “With the guidance provided, the record for oil production over the past eight years was broken, and we increased production by more than 200,000 barrels. In gas production as well, we moved the record from the past few years, and in the last winter we reached production of one billion and 100 million cubic meters per day.”
