Haalvash reported that in the early hours of Thursday, severe clashes broke out and sounds of heavy weapons fire, including RPGs, were heard in the Dab area in Saravan County, and the fighting is still ongoing.

According to Haalvash, hundreds of military and security forces have blocked the entry and exit routes of Razai Hospital in Saravan and have placed the hospital under siege and their control. Only ambulances are moving back and forth, and the region’s internet has also been severely disrupted.

Haalvash added that a large number of military and security forces who were killed or injured in the clashes on Wednesday in the Dab area, known as Jihadabad, are being kept in Razai Hospital, and hundreds of military personnel have surrounded the hospital and the routes leading to it.

The outlet also reported that many of the military and security forces discharged patients who were hospitalized in the maternity ward of the hospital without their consent and without the doctors’ permission.
