The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) said in its financial system assessment report on Turkey that the activities of 139 companies in the country have been deemed suspicious due to the likelihood of circumventing Iran sanctions.

The body also said it has warned about the suspension of transfers of electronic cargo and turbojet engines to Iran due to concerns about their possible use in a missile program, and called for strengthening the enforcement of financial sanctions against the Islamic Republic in Turkey.
