Greece and Israel will sign agreements in Tel Aviv on Monday to build an integrated air and missile defense system for Greece, called “Shield of Achilles.”

According to Greek and Israeli media, the value of the program is more than three billion euros, equivalent to about three billion and 400 million dollars.

As reported by The Jerusalem Post, this agreement, which was reached after three years of negotiations, will become the largest defense export deal in Israel’s history.

Based on a report by The Jerusalem Post, most of the funding will go to the Rafael company. This company will supply the “Iron Dome” system for intercepting heavy rockets and ballistic missiles, and the “Spider” mobile system for countering unmanned aerial vehicles and drones.
