🔻German Foreign Minister Johannes Wendefohl said on Friday that the country, together with

France and the United Kingdom, are ready to negotiate with Iran over its nuclear program.

According to Reuters, today, after a meeting with his European and regional counterparts in Istanbul, he said Tehran must show serious readiness to achieve a diplomatic and durable solution.

Previously, Jean-Noël Barrot, the French foreign minister, after meeting with his counterparts at the Istanbul summit, said: “An escalation of tensions between Iran and the United States will have no winner, and Hakan Fidan, Turkey’s foreign minister, also emphasized that diplomacy and dialogue are the only way.”
