🔶 Frankfurt Book Fair; Artificial Intelligence and Copyright

German publishers, by issuing the “Frankfurt call,” want the European Union and the German government to set clear rules and regulations for the use of copyrighted works in artificial intelligence education.

This year, at the 78th Frankfurt Book Fair, which is being held from October 7 to 11, things aren’t just being passed around. The main theme of the fair is this: when AI can write text, translate, and imitate authors’ styles, who is the owner of the work, and who should pay for its use?

This question is of great importance for Persian-language writers, translators, and publishers as well.
