🔺Fighting intensifies in Yemen; thwarting Houthi attacks in Taiz and a reciprocal strike by the Saudi-led coalition

▪Clashes between Yemen’s government forces and the anti-Houthi coalition led by Saudi Arabia on one side, and the Houthi rebels supported by the Islamic Republic of Iran on the other, have continued for the fifth consecutive month.

Government forces have reported repelling Houthi attacks in Taiz and advancing in the governorate of Jauf, and the Saudi coalition has also reported strikes against this group’s positions in several provinces in Yemen.
