🔺Rubio: Trump is ready for war, though he prefers peace

◾The U.S. secretary of state said that U.S. President Donald Trump prefers peace, but is prepared for war.

◾Speaking to reporters in Atlanta, Marco Rubio said, “In my view, what the president is looking at is that the United States remains the most powerful military force on the ground. If we want to, we can achieve military objectives.”

◾Rubio added: “He has not made a decision. He chose to solve the matter diplomatically. But in my opinion, the president expresses incredible confidence that if it is necessary to do something militarily, we will have the capability. And we truly have everything we need for success, but we prefer to do it peacefully.”
