Fatemeh Moghajerani, the government spokesperson, announced at a press conference that the government and other governmental institutions are prepared for all possible scenarios and expressed confidence that “by maintaining unity, we can get through potential crises.”

Moghajerani said that the situation is not to the detriment of the country neither in war nor in peace, and that it must be overcome.

The government spokesperson added: “With dignity, we are pursuing peace, but whenever the smallest encroachment is made upon our country’s soil, our armed forces will defend with strength, and as we have shown previously, in defense we will not back down even an iota.”
