Bijan Kian, a national security expert, said that diplomatic negotiations between the United States and the Islamic Republic can continue even after military operations begin, but in his view Washington will not grant concessions to the Iranian government.

Kian also, emphasizing the role of the Iranian people in the country’s political future, said that external pressures alone will not be decisive and that the fate of the government will be determined by the people of Iran.

He further called on the families of military personnel to not allow their children to lose their lives in military operations.
