Expansion of Starlink and direct-to-mobile satellite technology, internet shutdown, has presented the Islamic Republic with a new challenge to one of its older tools for managing crises. Government officials say they have the capability to disrupt this network, but at the same time they talk about diplomatic pressure and even the possibility of a power outage in the next crisis.
