Ibrahim bin Sultan Al Hashemi, director of the media and communications office of Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that the intermediary efforts between the United States and the Islamic Republic are “continuing and being pursued ‘without interruption,’” and that the aim is to achieve progress on the basis of which all issues of concern to both sides can be addressed.

Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Tuesday, 14 Mehr, that Al Hashemi, at the ministry’s weekly meeting, said that talks continue, messages are being exchanged between Washington and Tehran, and Qatar is mediating between the two parties.

He added that resolving the matter requires efforts to find negotiable solutions, taking into account the concerns of all parties involved.

Al Hashemi also condemned the “irresponsible approach” of the Houthi forces supported by the Islamic Republic in targeting Saudi Arabia, Islamic holy sites, and civilian facilities, and said that Qatar supports any action Saudi Arabia takes to preserve its security and territorial integrity.
