🔺Erdogan: Turkey can cover all its oil costs from Iraq

◾ The President of Turkey, in a meeting with the Iraqi Prime Minister, expressed readiness to supply “all crude oil needs” of this country from Iraq.

◾ Recep Tayyip Erdogan, at a press conference with Al-Zaydi, said: “The Iraqi prime minister says this country can deliver one million barrels of oil to Turkey per day. This is almost equivalent to our crude oil consumption. We welcome getting it from a neighboring country, and we won’t need to be dependent on others.”

◾ On Tuesday, Turkey’s oil company bought 15% of the share of the British company BP in the oil fields in the Iraqi region of Kirkuk. The oil and gas reserves of the five fields in which Turkey’s oil company has participated in developing and producing oil and gas amount to about 3 billion barrels.
