Donald Trump, the president of the United States, at a cabinet meeting at Camp David, attributed a cyberattack on 30 water facilities in the state of Minnesota to the performance of officials in that state and said responsibility for the matter lies with the state government and the governor of Minnesota.

He also said the Islamic Republic is dealing with more important problems and does not have any opportunity to interfere in this attack.

Trump said: “I know that the responsibility lies with Minnesota and its government, and with the corrupt governor of Minnesota. They want to say: ‘Oh, it was Iran. The Islamic Republic has much more important troubles and doesn’t even have the chance to involve itself with Minnesota.’”

The U.S. president also said about the Islamic Republic: “They are going through a difficult time. They have been very dishonest and very unfair in their dealings with us. But this makes no difference. They have performed very, very poorly.”
