🔶 Doctors Without Borders: The situation of medical services in the Gaza Strip is catastrophic

The international organization “Doctors Without Borders” has announced that the situation of medical services and healthcare in the Gaza Strip remains catastrophic.

Citing statements by the spokesperson of one of the hospitals in Gaza City, this aid organization has reported that medical facilities every day are confronted with very severe cases of burns and critical injuries.

However, shortages of equipment and medical supplies, specialized manpower for wound care and treatment, as well as power outages, have made operating medical facilities extremely difficult.

For this reason, medical staff are only able to attend to the most critical cases. According to this organization, each day only about 150 people are able to receive medical services.
