CNN reports that the United States is considering the use of the “Mother of All Bombs” in potential attack plans targeting energy infrastructure and facilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Donald Trump has also issued an order to prepare additional plans for attacks on targets in Iran.

Weighing nearly 10 tons, the “Mother of All Bombs” is among the most powerful American non-nuclear bombs. The bomb has extensive destructive power on the ground, but it is not designed to penetrate deep underground.

One of the possible targets is the underground “Khaleng Gazla” nuclear facility near Natanz; a complex whose depth is estimated to be between 100 and 145 meters.
