Israel Hayom reported that following the firing of 30 ballistic missiles in a drill by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the Israeli army has increased its alert level across all fronts and is at the highest level of readiness for a targeted attack on Iran.

The outlet added that one of the main scenarios Israel is focusing on is the escalation of tensions in the Strait of Hormuz, and it is expected that in the coming days the United States will carry out pinpoint strikes against radar systems, launchers, and observation positions in Iran related to the identification of ships passing through.

Based on this report, Israel’s assessment is that any possible U.S. attacks in the Strait of Hormuz will not have an immediate impact on Israel unless tensions are seriously escalated. In such circumstances, the Islamic Republic may use its own missile system currently being rebuilt against other targets in Gulf countries.
