🔻China’s foreign minister: Israel must stop settlement-building in the occupied West Bank

Wang Yi, China’s foreign minister, said that Israel should put an end to its actions to create settlements in the occupied West Bank.

Mr. Wang made these remarks during a meeting with Isaac Herzog, the President of Israel, in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

In a statement released after the meeting, it was said that China’s foreign minister told Mr. Herzog that China has always considered the issue of Palestinians to be “the greatest historical injustice of the current century.”

Mr. Wang also said that full access to Gaza must be provided so that the two million civilians living there would not be forced to live in difficult conditions.
